My Insightful Commentary:
If you, the guy reading this right now, has ANY problem approaching
women you don't know, expressing interest, and going for the number,
read that success story again, because it contains a vital secret that
can change EVERYTHING for you.
That one secret is "NON-ATTACHMENT."
That may sound a little "wu wu" to you right now, but actually it's very
simple and very practical.
Let me explain:
When most guys think about approaching a woman, they focus on the fact
that they're really attracted to this woman, they really want to get her
number, they wonder if she's taken, how she'll react, etc.
Unfortunately, indulging TOO MUCH in this kind of thinking raises your
anxiety level, making it less likely you'll say anything at all, and if
you do you'll probably come across nervous, needy, or even as some sort
of freakazoid.
(I just had to use that word "freakazoid." I was on a date last night,
and as usual I was busting my date's balls. Well, I kept trying to call
her a "freakazoid" but the mere thought of this cracked me up so bad I
couldn't even say it. I kept trying to get it to come out, but I just
kept laughing too damn hard. It was frickin' hilarious.
Oh, by the way, what you do you think my honest and hearty laughter with
my date did for her attraction to me?
If you guessed it sent it through the roof by demonstrating my
confidence and my naturally relaxed attitude, you're right.
And while we're on the subject, when was the last time YOU were on a
date and sincerely laughed your ass off?
I don't mean the "courtesy chuckle" you offer when a woman says
something that is supposed to be funny, and you fake a laugh because for
some stupid reason you think it's what you're supposed to do. I don't
mean that.
I mean laughing so hard your eyes tear.
When you get to a point of enjoying your interactions with women at this
level, you will find that almost every woman you go out with will feel a
gut level attraction to you.
But I digress. What in the hell was I talking about?
Oh yeah, approaching women when you're too attached to the outcome
screws up your chances of getting the outcome.
Kind of ironic, isn't it?
If you want something too much,
it means you don't get what you want.
Interesting.
