Ask RGDear RG,
I need advice.

I've been dating this fellow for a few years now (we've been living together for 2 years) and his X girlfriend wont leave him alone.

It is not a constant calling etc, but every so often she'll send an email, text, call or leave photos of herself at his office.

Initially it was because she 'found some of his things' then as I vocally predicted a month later she 'found some more.'

Each time warranting a meeting to retrieve his belongings.

The last time she told him she was engaged and planning to be married. (My detective work has found this to be true and I have dates and locations. It is local and coming up pretty soon).

We both believed since this news, she wouldn't be making further contact, not true.... her recent email simply states how much she misses their friendship.

Should I just let this go? (he doesn't know I have access to his email and has yet to read the message)

I feel like she keeps popping up to keep herself in his mind. I don't want to feel like I'm just waiting for the next time....help!
Sincerely,
New Jersey Sucker

RG's AnswerHi New Jersey Sucker,

She’s obviously not over him and hopefully her impending marriage will change all that.
But I don’t believe a word of it.

Since you have access to the email, just delete it.
But first, print it out and have it delivered to the groom a couple days before the wedding!!

Of course there are hundreds of things you can do to ruin a wedding, you don't need me to go into details, do you?

Well, OK, I'll give you a couple of examples off the top of my head:

  • use www.revengecall.com and call the wedding dress shop and tell them that the wedding has been put off two weeks... they now won't finish the alterations in time or have time for a proper final fitting
  • Last minute call the caterers and switch the dinner menu, no matter the cost!
  • Call the church and unbook the wedding date because of a sudden serious illness (or cancel the reception hall, whatever)
  • Call the bride-to-be, as a detective suspecting that her ring is stolen and she needs to come to xxx address and have it checked, that will be good to waste a few hours of her time and heighten her stress levels

How's that?

And if you’ve been living together for a couple of years, isn’t it time to plan your own wedding? Give your boyfriend the BIG HINT now before it’s too late!
