Revenge On The Gossipers

Dear RG,
I love your website. I almost didn't stumble across it. Okay, here's my
problem: I was dating this guy for about 3 1/2 years now, and through these
past 3 years we've broken up quite a bit but we always manage to get back
together.
Well, about
a month ago we broke up because he was starting to be a real jerk. I went
out of town and upon returning I realized how much I missed him so I wrote
him a letter and told him that we should get back together.
He denied
me (for the first time) and later that day he got about 3 people to call my
cell phone asking me for sexual favors. I was extremely embarrassed. When I
questioned him about it, he denied everything (even though I could hear his
voice in the background as the prank call was being made).
I didn't
know what else to do, so I told him that I was going to press harassment
charges on him. He stayed on the phone with me for hours trying to talk me
out of it. I finally told him that I wouldn't do it.
About 3
days later I got a friend of mine to call his phone.. my ex boyfriend
mistakenly three-wayed me into the conversation he was having with his
cousin and another female. I heard him talking about me like I was a dog. He
was talking about me as if I was a hoe on the street. i cried for hours.
A few days
later I called him and asked him why, and he told me that the past three
years was just a lie. I asked him when everything turned into lies and he
told me that he stopped having feelings for me about a month after we first
started dating!! I was devastated and even now that we've broken up, and he
used me, and talked about me like a dog.
I'm STILL
hearing this guy go around telling people that I did sexual favors for him,
and he's still lying about me, he just won't quit. Any advice?
Hi,
You've had a bad relationship turn against you even more. Why you kept
going back for more just is almost unbelievable. Fighting gossip from an
ex-boyfriend requires a thick skin and a special talent. The most important
aspect is to let the hurt pass before you start going for your revenge.
Since it's gossip your fighting this will have to happen in the open, no
anonymous revenge here, that's for sure!
Are you ready?
Step One:
Any time you hear what this ass is telling people about you just respond “Is
that what you really think?”. Put people on the spot. Put them in a place
them lower than whale poop.
He won’t quit as long as you react. Stop reacting to his lies and taunts.
Step Two:
Set a tougher line of offense.
You know where this guy hangs out. Create some “informational posters” about
him and put them up in the ladies room of places he hangs out.
Share the “love” so to speak.
Step Three:
Prepare for retaliation.
Keep a journal of dates and times and things that are said and to whom.
Keep track of the lies, the harassments.
Should this go on for long or you find that he’s affecting your personal
life, a journal of what he’s doing/saying about you can be given to the
police for formal charges to be investigated.
End Game:
Live life better knowing that the creep doesn’t get any more of your time.
You've had a painful life lesson, I hope you get past this.
And for the
heck of it, use www.RevengeCall.com
every so often calling him up (with your voice changed and the call display
changed, of course) at work and leaving him a message from his gay lover.
