Ask RGDear RG,
I've got a serious problem..

I've been seeing this guy for a few months now.. He's a contractor that works overseas and we only get to see each other ever so often.

I'm really starting to suspect that he's married.

He says he's been married and divorced twice and that he's single.

I would never date a married man.. eww.. However, there have been a few tell-tale signs that he may be still married.

For one, he never answers his phone and he mostly texts. Then, when we were together certain things were paid for in cash. I also think he has another unsuspecting girl in DC because when I asked if I could call him, he texted me back and said "No! I'm about to go out to lunch with a friend. I'll call you later okay?" I said ok and he never called back.

He texted me the next morning really early in the morning which is perfect if the other girl was still asleep.

I've been searching online and only bringing up pieces of info that tell me that there's a possibility but nothing concrete. He mentioned that his ex wife is remarried and has kids, but when I did a search I found someone with the same name with his last name.

I think that's her but her address and phone number is unlisted. Some of the online search engines for a marriage/ divorce certificates suck. Any suggestions for concrete proof? Please let me know

RG's AnswerHi New Jersey Sucker,

I’d use www.revengecall.com and give him a call (or have a friend do it), with the voice changed and the caller id displaying his company name and number, of course, and tell him you’re from payroll and you’ve noticed that the status of his wife has been inadvertently changed to deceased. Is this the case? What should his marital status be listed as?

Then get off the phone. Be sure you’ve recorded it and, of course, you’ll need to know a bit more about the company he says he’s working for.

Little lies lead only to bigger lies… in your case, always follow your gut instinct, something isn’t right here and I think you’re on the right track.
