Dear RG,
My sister-in-law (wife's sister) has a huge ego and thinks she is beautiful,
her husband a god, and her grown kids just fascinating.
I would love to knock her down a peg without resorting to sarcastic retorts
or walking out of the room.

The best way to deal with these lonely pathetic people, her living
vicariously through the lives of her kids and husband, is to involve them so
much in pointless self-deprecating questions and conversations that the
whole conversation becomes a mockery of the subject.
