Dear RG,
I'm from Cyprus. A Greek island in the Mediterranean sea. My name is Geena.
"Ando Ingtuoulus" is only the name I use for my email address.
I've seen your page and I'm writing you my problem, hoping you'll give me a good suggestion (I'm sure for that ). Please forgive any mistakes with my English language as it is not my first language.
It's been 13 years that I'm trying to think for a revenge for a specific person that made my life miserable from 1992 to 1998. I still have a lot of pain inside me from his actions and I haven't' got over what he did to me. So I seek for a revenge (even for entertainment) that will make me feel like I have gone, somehow, even.
Here are, briefly, his actions:
Penlous was a lover for a year. At the end of 1992 he stopped responding my phone calls for a month and a half, so I thought we've split up and that he wasn't interested in me anymore. Therefore I met someone else and Penlous got extremely jealous when he found it out. He was stalking me for a month and he found out about my new boyfriend.
Suddenly he came to my apartment, knocked the door very very hard and threatened that he was going to brake it if I didn't' open. When I opened the door he gave me a very very hard slap and I was paralyzed. Then he tried to suffocate me with his two hands for many seconds. I felt he was going to kill me. I was terrified. Fortunately, a friend from the building I was living in, came that moment and kept him away from me. After that, I was running in the town like crazy and lost. I didn't go to the police because I was young (22) then, and afraid that he would get more angry.
After the thing he did, I told my father and he went to his house and told him to forget me and stop harassing me and stalking me.
But he stopped only for a while. He came back one day after months, to my apartment and pretended he changed and I accepted him. I behaved to him very nicely but he called me a whore and he slapped me again. I was crying . He was laughing. I know you'll say that I shouldn't accept him but as I said before I was young and very sensitive, like a flower.
I was very hurt. He kept on stalking me (I could see his figure at night when I was out when I turned over my arm) so I thought, and felt, all the time that he wanted to kill me. He was my nightmare.
To make the long story shorter, he kept on coming back, I was believing he changed and the 3rd thing he did to me was to steal me 300 pounds. Which is 600 dollars.
The fourth thing he did was the following: I was about to leave from Cyprus and go to study at the United States. His jealousy had no end. He told some friends of mine that if I leave Cyprus without going to talk to him he will never let me leave Cyprus! He kept on threatening me all the time about this, for instance by calling my psychologist and telling him "Tell Geena that I won't let he leave Cyprus and that she has to come and talk to me first!". I was so much afraid all the time about my life. He was acting like a tough man and scaring me all the time. He then called a social worker of my area telling her the same threats, and the woman called me and told me to be careful because "these are sometimes situations that have a bad end! "
Anyway, finally I left for USA and studied for 3 years. But during the third year Penlous did again something bad. He had a Cypriot friend living in New York where I was studying and Penlous told that guy to come and tell me to go back to Cyprus because Penlous will never leave me in peace and that he would do something bad to my old parents if I didn't go back immediately. After that, dear revengeguy, I finished my semester and came to Cyprus. I'ts a 10 hours flight. I've called Penlous and told him to meet! He took me out to dinner one night and me? I was hiding the big pain of my soul and behaving well BECAUSE I WAS AFRAID OF HIM and pretended I liked him. The story ended there!!! That's all he wanted can you believe it? He is so stupid, sick and has such a big ego, sick ego, that all he wanted was my attention and probably to feel stronger that me.... a girl!
As you understand he was the reason I haven't got my bachelor degree also. I did not return to the USA again.
Since then, he calls me (because Cyprus is a small island and its easy to find out info about other people) every two or three years to see how I am, and to tell me to meet but of course I deny. I'm almost 36 now and I feel stronger to fight him, but of course I haven't got over the pain he caused me in my life.
Please give me a suggestion for a proper revenge that will give me some
comfort. Thanks again dear friend.

Hi Geena,
In America you’d go to the courthouse and get a restraining order
against him so he can’t come near you again.
In your case I recommend getting a big dog so that you can protect yourself
from him.
This has gone on long enough and you need some type of protection from this brute.
Do some research and see if there is help for abused women in your locality.
As well, talk to the police, they can, at the minimum, provide you with
ideas to protect yourself.
Revenge here really isn’t an option without putting yourself in harm’s way.
If you can, however, Greek men are very masculine in their behavior. I would
tell you to start a rumor, somehow, that he is not "all man". Possibly
getting some small gifts delivered to his place of work, supposedly sent
from another man. Just make sure you can't be caught out!
