Michael W: Understanding the power of 'Going with it' to increase a woman's attraction.
Today, I'd like to share a very useful concept you can apply the INSTANT you see a woman you'd like to approach.
This is something that works like MAGIC, time after time, with guys approaching women during my Real World Bootcamps.
The great thing about this concept is that it simultaneously makes you way funnier and also prevents you from coming across as a "clown", in fact you will come across as far more CONFIDENT as well.
And it requires just one SIMPLE thing to understand:
The principle is that whatever a woman says to you, you don't go protest it, you don't become defensive. You actually GO WITH IT, similar to how aikido goes WITH the energy being directed towards you but you just redirect it.
This is actually the KEY to how improv live performers who do comedy skits, are able to SPONTANEOUSLY keep on being FUNNY for what seems like
forever.
So for example, let's say you go up to a woman and you say something that is highly likely to provoke a response, like "Hey! Are you staring at me? It makes me feel like a piece of meat when you stare at me, and I want to be appreciated for my personality as well!"
So, either she GETS this, (a lot of women GET this kind of humorous stuff, since instead of playing football and pool as kids they instead developed more social skills) she might smile and say "And what's so wrong with that? It's a good thing!"
And you're response should not be to ARGUE, but rather GO WITH WHAT SHE SAYS, and say "Nothing is wrong with it, in fact, while you're at it, I'll have a massage thank you very much!"
See what I mean? This makes you ten times FUNNIER.
Now, let's say she says "Ohhh I wasn't staring at you, I'm really sorry if you thought I was" (this is less cool of her, because it means she doesn't get the humor going on, but you can still make it work as I'm going to show you) well then here AGAIN you should NOT argue or go AGAINST it, instead go WITH IT, and say something like:
"Of course you weren't STARING at me, I was just being nice there, it was more like you were STALKING!"
By NOW, for sure, most girls will GET IT.
This concept of GOING with the flow works in your favor in MANY situations, including anytime a woman you just met says something playfully teasing to you.
So, let's say she says "Are you here at this party/club/lounge/bar all by yourself?" You shouldn't go into a whole defensive thing to show you have lots of friends and you are popular. Even if it's true, you'll actually may end up sounding insecure, and it's boring to answer like that anyway.
INSTEAD, go WITH whatever she said, go to the EXTREME. This is both FUNNY and it also shows CONFIDENCE.
So, what you might say to the above question of hers "Are you here all alone?" is "Yes, I am all alone, just like the little Gingerbread Man, and I'm just hiding out here! Will you help hide me???"
This shows WAY MORE confidence and is way more funny.
And if she goes with it, you should KEEP going with it. So let's say she says "oh GINGERBREAD! I love Gingerbread!" Then don't give up the fun by saying "I'm just kidding around" instead KEEP it going, i.e. "You LOVE Gingerbread? OH NO!! Not you too! Don't BITE me!!"
Get it?
This is how you can have TONS of fun, EASILY. The key is SIMPLE- always GO WITH IT, and NEVER go against it.
This creates humor, it shows you have sharp social skills, and it shows way MORE confidence.
Of course, if a woman is asking you if you are there all alone because she has ALREADY been talking to you for hours, that usually means she wants to go home WITH you, so that's a cool thing too. In that case, you can agree, or if you want to have fun, you can still have a bit of fun by saying something like "That depends on whether you consider yourself a somebody" and then wink at her as you take her hand in yours.
