OH-MY-GOD Halloween Chocolate Cheesecake
Here’s a recipe for Halloween I’d like to share with you, it’s called the “Oh-My-God Halloween Chocolate Cheesecake” and it’s easy to make. Here’s how:
Crust:
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
about 2 tablespoons sugar
Filling:
3 packages cream cheese, room temperature
3 eggs
apprx 2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons cocoa powder unsweetened
Using a Springform pan, melt about 2 tablespoons of butter, add about 1 1/2 cups of chocolate graham cracker crumbs, and mix in 2 tablespoons sugar. Stir well with a fork and press into the bottom of the pan.
With an electric mixer, mix three packages cream cheese, with three eggs and about 2 cups of sugar. Add cocoa powder. Pour this into the pan, on top of the crust and bake at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes. Its pretty much done when a toothpick inserted in it comes out clean, but I like to leave it in about five to ten minutes
longer because the cheesecake takes on a wonderful fudge brownie-like consistency on the top layer. The center will be a bit wiggly but will firm up as it cools. Let it cool and remove the form from the pan.
Also, If you put a pan of water in the oven, on the bottom rack, while the cheesecake is baking, the cheesecake is much less likely to crack. 
(You can add the Halloween flare by using some orange icing or sprinkling a few candy corns on top.)

How to pick up a guy

She thinks that he’s interested in her because she sees him often in the library and he often “moves around” from library desk/cubicle to closer desks/cubicles. And she thinks that he’s just too nervous to actually approach her.
She’s right. Most guy’s suffer from “rejectionitis“, the death grip of fear of being rejected by a woman.
But she shouldn’t outright ask him out… it puts too much pressure on him, if he’s so scared of making the first move. And he’ll likely fumble around and just give up.
So I told her to do this:
Get two drinks from the pop machine. It doesn’t matter what they are but they should both be the same drink.
Go to him and give him one of the drinks. Say to him “You look thirsty, here you go.” And continue back to her desk/cubicle.
This gives the guy the “opening” to appproach her (to say thank you and more), as well as toning down his rejectionitis.
The drinks should be the same so that they “share a drink” even if they aren’t immediately together.
Isn’t this a great way to brerak the ice, get the guy’s attention, and help him get over the fear he has of being rejected, of not being worthy to ask her out?
You’re damn right it is!
And guy’s, feel free to use this method of breaking the ice too.
Friday’s Conversation Topics
This week we had all kinds of news, interesting stuff really, didn’t we?
- Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” movie opened everywhere and actually got some pretty good reviews.
CNN gave the movie a particularily good review here. Foxnews.com provided their review in a video clip here. While I most likely won’t b going to the theater to watch this movie, I will be buying the DVD, I’m sure.
- Did you read about the 71 year old man that is now the happy father of twins? You can read it here.
- I’m quite surprised that there hasn’t been a big outcry of broken computers and such after the release last week of Windows 7. Did Microsoft actually get something right this time around?
- Daylight Savings Time. The clocks fall back November 1, that’s right, this weekend. Will you remember or will you be very early to work on Monday? Read about the time change here.
