Three things you need to know about 2010, that likely only I will bring to your attention.
1. The Winter Olympics will be hosted in Vancouver, Canada, this year, starting February 13. Unfortunately, I have to be in Vancouver on February 8. I am very hopeful (foolishly so, possibly) that traffic will be light and I will get in and out of the city with customary ease.
2. Climate change and global warming will lose focus as the weather begins to return to 1950 norms.
3. 2010 is not the beginning of a new decade, as has often quoted in recent news. Since there was no Year 0 (zero) 2010 is the tenth year and 2011 will strat the next decade. The people that get this wrong also beleived that 1999 ended the last century, which is wrong. Again, since there was no Year 0 (zero) 2001 actually started this new millenium.
I hope I have cleared up some 2010 trivia for you.
