Corey Haim will be missed
I was a teenager when Corey Haim was living in the area where I has a part-time job. He was in the junior high school across the street and would come to play video games and shoot some pool.
His acting took him to LA, with his father if I remember correctly.
Full of good humor, a little shy and soft spoken, he did return to Toronto to have a private screening of “Lost Boys” with his friends.
Of course I saw him in later movies, always announced as the kid I saw play snooker where I worked to my friends.
Life took him to dark places, strange places and at the same time familiar places.
Who hasn’t seen or read the story of a teen heart-throb melting down in later years?
He will be missed.
