Today you should smile!

Today you should smile!

Wednesday

Today I have a great suggestion for a headline that you can post on your personal ad profile.

I am so glad that I thought this up, 100% original, that I’ll be walking around all day with a smile on my face, knowing that I helped you so well with this headline.

So, today, post this as your headline and get ready to spend many hours writing replies:
“If you need references I am prepared to give them to you!”

Have a great day!

Dating Profile of the Day

Rob & Sheila's wedding day

Rob & Sheila's wedding day

Tuesday

I used to be disgusted about the people, classified as losers, that used online dating services.

That was a long, long time ago because this September I’ll be celebrating my 10th wedding anniversary with the woman I love, that I first met online.

This is why I do what I do, so people like you can find the right online place, whether it’s a dating service or a social network site, that you can be available to meet your “special one” too.

I give you a new headline each day, maybe not ideally suited to what you might otherwise post as a headline, but give change a chance, you might just be celebrating a milestone is a little while too.

For today I wants you to post this headline (or something like it):
“Get cute and I’ll do my best to keep up!”

Have a great day!

Burning bridges for a new start

Burning bridges for a new start

Monday

I’d say we’re at it again but I’m quite certain that I’ve said it before. So I won’t.

Instead, let’s embrace this Monday as a day to make over all the mistakes of the past.
Now that we know better we can redo and remake ourselves to perform better, respond better and make better first impressions.

A nice fresh day for a nice fresh start.

This is the type of Monday I can respect instead of dread.

To keep this positive energy going you want to share this feeling of refreshment right into your online dating profile. So take a hard look at it and tweak it a bit to show yourself as a more positive person.

And while you’re there you might as well update your headline. I suggest posting this:
“I could use your help to get to know you better.”

Have a great day!

Flowers for Mom

Flowers for Mom

Sunday

Yes, it’s Mother’s day.

Congrats to all of our Mother’s. We love them!

And you know what the most important part of motherhood there is? A husband… and a family… and children.

And the will to continue… LOL.. (just kidding!)

We all have very primal urges and the most pulling is to procreate. So let’s work hard at getting together with some great genes and make a happy bundle, right?

To get started, make your online personal ad work wonders for you by posting this headline:
“I am formally requesting a message of your acceptance”.

Have a great day!

Best Dating Tips For You

Date restaurant?

Date restaurant?

Here are more of my best dating tips for you.

Because we all want to date better, that is, we want to connect better with the person we are on a date with, or if you have been dating for a while and now find yourself at the “relationship crossroads” and wonder which way to take from here.

Let’s start off with being on a date for our first dating tip:

- The rules have changed about who pays the bill and when.
And it’s hard to know what to expect about paying the bill, and you don’t want to lower your date’s attraction level over a few dollars.
My suggestion to you is that you should consider yourself paying the bill unless you the both of you have decided, mutually, to split the bill.
And saying a simple “Do you mind if we split the bill?” is absolutely proper before the first item is needed to be paid for, or before the food/ticket ordering has been made.
Let your date decide if he/she will agree to that, and go along with whatever the decision is. You don’t want a few dollars to stand between you and a great date, do you?

- Walking through doors.
This is an odd topic but one that stands out in many woman’s memories of whether the date has been great or not. And being the one that opened the door for her, allowing her to walk through first, has a way of canceling whatever some of the bad stuff that happened throughout the date (Perish the thought of not having a perfect date!) because you, the guy, was so chivalrous. So open he doors of buildings, movie theaters, restaurants and taxis. Even get out of your car to rush around and open the door for her. Trust me, your attraction level just went up two points!

Now some dating tips if you’re at the “relationship crossroads”:

- Sooner or later, despite all efforts, you’ll come to a point in your “dating” that you have to decide:
exclusive or not?
committed or not?
The decision is yours and should not be pressured by the other person. But it is you that makes the decisions that affects the rest of your life. Don’t you hate those types of decisions? Those life changing ones?
If you enjoy being with the person, if your life is beginning to revolve around them (and you still have your friends) then a big “Yes” is in order. Maybe. It is your decision to make.

- If you are unsure about making the commitment then ask yourself, will you be better or worse should you decide to go ahead with the commitment towards this other person. Are your life goals the same? Do you have the same type of friends/ can you maintain your current friendships without causing trouble with your soon-to-be significant other?
We are always at a time in our lives that will affect he rest of our lives. Every moment leads to the next. Always. How is this current moment, of becoming committed to someone, different that “mustard or mayo” on your lunchtime sandwich?
When you can come to the decision for that you can be right about any next question hat faces you, that will change your entire future.

There you go, some big dating tips. Remember them because without a doubt, at some time in the future, you’ll be glad you did.

Have a great date!

Dating Profile Headline of the Day

Saturday

This is the day of the day after that you had off, or I did, or something like that.

So, again, I’ll let you take things easy. You have a busy life, you have chores to do too today, I bet.

So get the things done today that need to be done, then go right away to your dating profile and add this as your headline:
“I have completed my chores, now I’m up for some fun, what about you?”

Have a great day.

Friday’s Fun Conversation Topics

Friday's party hat

Friday's party hat

As you prepare to head out on the town tonight, or over to a party, you need to have some fun topics to talk about. Good for you, you’ve come to the right place. In this weekly post we look back at popular news stories and provide you all you need to be up-to-date when it’s your turn to talk about something interesting. Visit us every Friday for these conversation stories and every day for more great stuff to make your single and/or dating life better understood.

So, let’s get right to it:

- Senator caught with porn on laptop. My concern isn’t whether the senator clicked away from the partially clad women quick enough, or that he was caught watching porn during an abortion debate, it is that he has friends (the senator wouldn’t click a link in an email he didn’t recognize, would he?) that feel it entirely appropriate to send him porn links, knowing he’s a senator and all that… egad!

- Betty White to appear this weekend on ‘Saturday Night Live’. The 88 year old actress also says very little nudity in her appearance on the show. Egad again…

- Corey Haim died of pneumonia. I knew Corey back in the 80′s, when I clerked at a billiard parlor and he was just finishing filming of “The Lost Boys“. I remember he came back to Toronto to invite some friends to a private screening of the film. He was a precocious kid, he liked to have friends. I hate to think that was the reason he died, but he like of being liked was only a contributing factor. May he rest well.

Beaver

Beaver

- World’s largest beaver dam visible from space. Slow news week? Nope, but digging into what was first reported in 2007 is a step forward, I think. Anyways, this beaver dam, more than 8 football fields long, can be viewed using Google and NASA technology (appropriate links and imagery in the news article). I wonder if this real-world-wonder will be awarded some type of award, not that the beavers would care, I guess.

- The last one….. DMV employees busted for selling fake IDs and bad vehicle titles. Another story of the civil servant run amok? Or just that these illegal ways to boost their pay was to easy to pull off? Another story of government employees policing themselves and getting their hand caught in the glovebox. LOL

Have a great weekend!

Friday

TGIF

I have to say, honestly, that this day, this Friday, has to be one of the most looked forward to I’ve had in a long time.

Myself, like many of you I am sure, don’t have one full time job to pay the bills. Our workweek is split between all seven days and often, because of the needs of job #2 and job #3, a weekend off is like a holiday in itself. Or a night off…LOL.

So, Thank Goodness It’s Friday!

Being that it is Friday, and a day off, I’m going to make this headline very easy for you to post, just copy and paste it, and you’re done. Then, of course, you’re going to have a busy Saturday answering all the message you get from posting a great headline like this one:
“We will connect, in all kinds of ways! Check me out!”

Have a great day!
