Your Future: Dating Profile Headline of the Day

So what are you waiting for?
I remember a time when Sunday night television was for family shows and mystery movies. Am I now too jaded for the current fare to wonder why I am confronted with zombies (The Walking Dead) and serial killers (Dexter) as regular viewing options?
Do Sunday night killers lead to Monday morning rages at work? A fair question, I think, considering the state of workplace violence these days.
Pretty heady stuff for the beginning of the week, eh?
Life isn’t always about getting the best things, it’s often the result of the best choices available.
Online dating suits this reality to a tee. You’ve got to be in that certain place, at that certain time, to be found by the one that is to find you. And if not, then not.
So what are you waiting for? Your destiny is waiting; certainly your future hinges on the very next thing you do.
As you join the online dating service(s) that wil forever chnage your life may I suggest a headline to add to your profile? Use this:
“I am always becoming who I am.”
Have a great day!
Responses: Dating Profile Headline of the Day
Sunday
“I got you into this and I’ll get you out!”
Famous last words if ever there were, right?
We all can identify problems and solutions for others, we only have so much invested to lose. But there are some problems that we are too close to and can’t really be able to handle the problem as detached as would be best.
Whenever you can take a step back, consider the issue at hand. Maybe a short cooling off period is needed, maybe come back to this problem tomorrow, with a fresh body and mind after a good nights sleep.
In the online dating world all you need to do is not reply right away and blame your lack of immediate response on a bad internet connection, your computer froze up, the power went off, something to buy you more time to consider all the angles and approaches to the problem at hand.
Today, use your best and brightest line for ho you conquer troubles in your oen life, for me I’d post this:
“Always willing to talk things out and find equal ground.”
Maybe not the most romantic personal ad headline but certainly an attention-getter!
Have a great day!
Rockmelt can’t find Facebook
So what do you do when the new Rockmelt browser, that has gotten so much attention lately, can’t find Facebook on which the browser is supposed to be so well integrated with?I know a lot of things but I don’t know the answer for this one. it’s a very plain error message though. “Not Found”, rather basic and frightening in it’s perspective.
I do like the Rockmelt browser otherwise. It’s using the Google Chrome engine, so it looks like the browser Chrome, which I am hoping I can figure out how to change the plain-jane browser look.
I do like the social features and having all my Facebook links right at hand, making me even more lazy I don’t have to even click between browser tabs anymore…LOL.
You’ll need to request an invite to test Rockmelt and if you’re given the approval you can then invite 3 friends to try Rockmelt too. Nothing like making a social browser a little more social, eh?
I just hope Rockmelt can find Facebook again soon…..
Of course, my next move was to close and restart Rockmelt, so imagine my surprise when this “Not Found” error page showed up… I guess if you can’t access Facebook (which seems to happen at least 5 nights out of 7 for anywhere from a few minutes to several hours) you can’t even start Rockmelt… looks like life sucks for this browser!
Chaos: Dating Profile Headline of the Day

Chaos or serenity?
Across the world we remember those thought fought for our freedom and died.
If you haven’t yet, please offer these brave soldiers that paid the ultimate sacrifice a moment of silent reflection.
Life is not so wildly out of control that we should allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by the events that circle us.
When you take responsibility for the small things in your life your bigger circle of life will be more manageable.
Today I offer you the opportunity to list down the events in your life that may be throwing your life into chaos, and when the list is done rate each item from 1 to 10, 10 meaning this item needs to be urgently dealt with, 1 can wait a little while.
Please join this blog and use the comments section to post one or two of your top chaos items and let’s see if we can’t figure something out that will help your life be less chaotic.
For your dating profile headline of the day let’s use this:
“Will you throw my life into chaos or serenity?”
Have a great day!
Smile: Dating Profile Headline of the Day
TuesdayA bit of a late start this morning… watched a late movie that had my full and complete attention. It’s called “The Day The Earth Stopped”, a bit of a campy sci-fi about these aliens and robots come to earth to extinguish man unless these aliens can be convinced that man is worth saving. The dialogue is occasionally weird and, of course, many scenes are simply to much for a believing mind, but then again, entertainment works best when you open your mind and suspend your belief system for a while.
Life offers us many opportunities to just enjoy the things around us, if we only give it a chance.
Today take an extra look at things as you go through your day, there are secret smiles hidden behind every quick glance, take the opportunity to smile first.
For your dating profile headline suggestion today I want you to write a smile, and make the reader be touched with a sense of warmth, so post this:
“Look at me smile, like a child at Christmas time.”
Have a great day!
Change: Dating Profile Headline of the Day

Change rules our lives
I’ve thought long and hard about what to write today. Maybe another of my witty “I have Mondays” rants. Maybe talk about the benefits of life online and how love changes everything.
Neither of those topics seemed particularly exciting to me today. Maybe it’s the change of the clock and the sun setting so early, maybe it’s how governments control our lives with forcing us to change our clocks at all. Maybe it is just another Monday, no excitement, no challenge ahead.
I don’t know.
Just another Monday, I guess.
I do know that love changes everything. I do know that you can find love online.
I know that our paths may only cross once so I hope this is not the only piece of writing you will judge me by. But at the very least consider today’s dating headline as a possibility to change your life:
“The only way to lose at love is to not gamble anything at all.”
Because anything is possible.
Have a great day!

Funny Dating Profile Headline of the Day,
SundayMy day of rest even if it’s not yours.
I think I’m going to play some online games, see what my friends are up to on Facebook and generally waste the day away.
Of course it will involve snacks, beer and watching football too, but that is the definition of Sunday being the day of rest, isn’t it?
Your day, however, is going to be a little bit different even if the basics of my day are similar to yours.
Today is “Edit your online dating profile day” and I’m sure you can guess what that means… LOL…
As you look at what to change about what you’ve written about yourself I want you to concentrate on what has happened to you this past seven days. The good, the bad, whatever helped you or hindered you from enjoying the past week should the the bulk of the changes you make to your profile.
Keeping your profile current makes it more meaningful to the people that will be reading it, and when you have a meaningful life posted to your profile you have a better chance of attracting exactly the type of person you want in your life.
If you don’t have an online dating service matching you up yet then let me suggest eharmony.com which is in the middle of a “Free Communication Weekend” which allows you to exchange emails with your matches without having to pay for a membership. For American members this special ends November 14th and for Canadian members this special offer ends on November 30th.
Your headline, and your profile picture, makes a statement about yourself and is the first thing someone will see and read about yourself so your headline has a lot of power over the results you get from your online dating ad. Yes, the headline you use is that important.
Your headline should be refreshed at least ever several days but you want to know the conditions of the dating service before you change your headline or edit your profile. For instance, Match.com takes your profile from the search results and browse section until it is re-approved whenever you make a change, so you wouldn’t want to change your headline every day, you’d never be seen.
So know what happens to your profile, is all I’m saying.
For your dating profile headline today I suggest you use this to attract the people you want to meet:
“Like me, heroes don’t care about money.”
Have a great day!
Dod Eat Dog: Dating Profile Headline of the Day

Ready for a manicure?
I like to think that I can provide to you, my readers, some relevant and helpful dating advice, whether online or in the real world.
The truth can be hard to take and sometimes even brutal to hear. Being successful at dating means you can get past the first date and decide for yourself if the adventure will be worth the effort with the person you’ve started dating before they decide that they don’t want to date you.
It’s a dog eat dog world, right?
I have a friend, a girl that I used to work with, and she’s having a heck of a time with getting past the “friend” stage with the guy’s she meets and when she does make plans with a guy half of the time he flakes out on her. Tragic, really.
It hard to give really effective advice because so many situations are “outside of the box” and a neat little “you should do this” isn’t always the most effective or doable advice.
So I’ve been giving her situation a lot of thought and I think it’s time we move beyond the standards of how to act and how to react to different dating happenings.
Now it’s time to get personal and begin a change that just might entice a better class of men to be drawn towards her.
Yes, I’m talking about changing the t-shirts and jeans for a nicer blouse, with jeans or slacks, and most of all, a manicure. Nothing fancy, just a nail makeover with a clear coat to give her nails some classy shine. I’ll report later how things work out.
For you, look at the physical picture people see when they are with you. Are there any small changes that can bring big results? I bet there is, use the comments to ask questions about this.
For your Saturday night personal profile headline I suggest this to be posted:
“Read my profile. What is my most attractive feature?”
Have a great day!
Bad (and good) Tattoo Ideas
I have to be honest, I have no ink on my body. It’s not that I’m anti-tattoo or anything, it’s mostly I haven’t seen anything original enough that would define me for the rest of my life that I would want other people to see.
Let’s face it, some tattoos fade into old age and others just scream “Numbskull – what were you thinking?!”. So I want to be careful when I finally take the step into the tattoo parlor and get it done.
I think that, besides the tattoo in the picture my choices are now down to (See some of the tattoos talked about here):
- “Made in [hometown-here]” – a testament to where you were born, I kinda like this one
- “Baby on board” – even though I’m a guy and technically this tattoo doesn’t apply, I still think it’s a bad idea.
- “Reflect” yes, the single word on the forehead. people will certainly stop and think when they see this on your forehead, could be in the running if my current prescription pain pills need an increase in dosage
- Any words that I am not fluent in is likely not a good idea, like Britney Spears tattoo that was supposed to mean “Mysterious” but means “Strange” instead. Oops.
- If you’re going to be involved in a criminal enterprise I think that this type pf tattoo is just not only overkill but also a blinking light for police to stop you and to follow you any time, day or night, for no other reason that your face. Enough said, click here for the picture.
Friday’s Conversation Topics For Dates
Friday’s conversation topic articles. OK, the mid-term elections are over, out with the old and in with the new politicos that will lie and steal and cheat their way to a rich retirement. What’s that old line, “Don’t vote the government always gets elected”, no matter what government always gets bigger and our share to pay for it gets larger. That’s my political rant for this week, let’s move on to more conversational stories;
- Microsoft Kinect system is racist? In a story that was circulated yesterday, the online gamers site gamespot says that people of a darker color have a problem using the Kinect motion sensing system because of their dark skin while white players do not have any troubles. In a contrary report Consumers Report said their testing found no such issues. Gizmodo seems to like the system too.
- The largest plane in the world has engine troubles. Qantas grounded their 9 A380 Airbus planes after a plane lost an engine cover mid-flight. Generally I’m not afraid of flying but geesh… at least the plane did land safely after dumping a lot of fuel and a big left turn for the airport, Singapore’s Changi Airport.
- Has the popular hacker and commotion causing site 4chan finally been outed as an outlet for kiddie porn? Now that would be revenge on the revenge-takers, wouldn’t it?
- Bacon flavored soda pop? Sure, as they say, who has time to make bacon every morning, why not just drink it with your eggs? Ugh. taste test video below.
Have a great weekend!
