Friday’s Best Conversation Topics

This first week of the year, or at least the first week of January that had a Monday in it, I have managed to find 5 great conversational news stories that are great conversation subjects and/or conversation starters and/or awkward pause breakers. So read away my conversational friends, you’ll be awesome conversationally when you read my witty remarks and the news articles tied to them Enjoy!

- Bad breakup ways. As a parting gift this guy tries to give his girlfriend a vibrator bomb (allegedly). I’d say “shocking” but he did get caught…LOL…

- The world’s formerly fattest main in pictures. Naked. And something about a lawsuit. Just go, you do want to see a really fat man naked, don’t you?

- Leona the Penguin hangs out in the lion’s den. How can zoos allow a baby penguin to stroll around the zoo and, even worse, be able to get into a den of sleeping lions? Is anyone worried about the lions finding the way in as a way out? Geesh.

- Apple Mac App store opens yesterday and the first news about it is that piracy of many apps could be (or is) possible. Or happening now. Good thing that Apple’s Mac computer (not to be confused with iPhones, iTouches, iPads, etc.) still only has about a 3% market penetration. maybe Microsoft can offer some tips about countering software and app piracy, like let others worry about it. yes, I know, it seems that Apple is going that way anyways, I just figured that I should point this out to you.

- CES Las Vegas. the Consumer Electronics Show opens in Las Vegas, in pictures. That is, this is a link to an online album of pictures from the show, including some exciting pictures of some of the techy stuff you’ll soon be buying. Because we both know that we both like techy stuff.
