Friday has arrived and it’s my favorite time of year. Yes, I know that Friday comes around every 7 days but considering the week I’ve had it’s been a full year since the last one.

- A gangster’s life: Fine dining and ocean breezes. I do like knowing how the FBI caught one of their most wanted fugitives and about the $800,000.00 in cash stashed in his rent controlled apartment. But $192.00 for dinner out? Really CNN if you run out of news just end the story already. Geesh.

- Peter Falk, our beloved detective Columbo, died Thursday at age 83. He was a heck of an actor with a great legacy of roles left with us. Rest in peace sir.

- Did the “Poo-burger” punk you? There was a “researcher” who released details of creating edible meat from poo. Sure, maybe it’s possible and maybe it’s a step up for prison food but really? Really?
