Daylight Savings 2011

Spring forward, fall back.

Spring forward, fall back.

Daylight Savings 2011 takes place on November 6, 2011 at 2:00am which then becomes 1:00am.

Remember:
Spring forward, fall back.

It’s a seasonal thing for us northern hemisphere dwellers. After all, not too many of us want to see the sun set at 3:00pm in the afternoon. Of course for those north of 60 degrees longitude it’s a dark day all day.

Just remember to reset the clocks that need resetting, often the cheaper alarm clocks we so sorely cling to that help us to awake to begin our day. Your computers and tablets should reset themselves unless they have some time zone issue that needs tending to. Your car may not be so user-friendly, just as your watch will likely need to be told what the actual time is with each season of daylight savings time.

Enjoy your extra hour on Sunday, you’ve earned it!
