I Wonder: Dating Profile Headline of the Day
This is something to wonder about.
Love is contagious but if you aim this “love virus” at someone who is otherwise immune you not only end up with wasted effort but the “contagion” you had will have to rebuild its strength before it has the strength to strike again.
We each have personal experiences with rejected love. Whether we are eventually off-putted with a standard refusal of our advances and obsession or were ridiculed and rejected in a humiliating way, love was lost and our wounds were opened up and raw for a long time afterwards.
Some people attempt to immunize themselves against the love virus, refusing to become either a target for love or an arrow on the bow of Cupid. Their existence becomes robotic, cold and as predictable as a sunny day. But even sunny days can bring rain and when love strikes these people they can be so overwhelmed that they find new life shattering their solitary existence becoming forever changed.
I urge you to not hide from the effects of love but I wonder if anyone reading this will heed my warning.

I could be wrong but one of the tragedies of life, love and dating is the ability for men (almost all men) and women (at a far lower percentage of success) to successfully break the ice and impress the person you want to impress when you first meet them.
Gone not only is the art of conversation from our collective memory but also the opening line library that for decades (at least) men relied on to use as icebreakers so they could introduce themselves to the women that have attracted them.
The Internet, in all its power and glory, has reduced opening lines not only too much unwanted scrutiny by women but has also, in its limitless search for humor subjects, turned most pickup lines into jokes, either with the use of humorous images or by outright re-editing and in the process destroyed the false sense of confidence many men had by relying on these same pickup lines.
This being the case a new form of “the pickup” has been written and seems to be rather successful (men click here) women please just wait for the men to surprise you, ok, or the whole program falls to uselessness again.

A single man enters a bar
A single man enters a bar, proceeds to a table and waits to be served. As the waitress leaves with his alcohol and food order he scans the room, not quite obviously but slowly enough to look at each face of the 40 or 50 people in the place.
He sees several groups of men huddled together and other groups of women chatting amongst themselves. Most of the women are younger than he is but it’s to be expected for the bar he is in.
There are a handful of couples scattered about the room but not enough to change the thought that this is a place he can hook up with a woman later in the evening, as the crowd increases and the alcohol flows.

Where Are You? Dating Profile Headline of the Day
Do you know where you are now and where you’re headed towards?
I’ve offered you the “Failure to prepare” quote before and I try to only repeat myself on special occasions. This isn’t one of them.
On this day I hope you’ve succeeded in your ability to plan your day and to handle your responsibilities as only you know how they need to maintained for you to succeed.
Life can be good and I am certain that since you’ve come this far that you are aware of how much farther you need to go to reach your own goals and be cable to help with the goals for those of your family and friends that you take responsibility of.
Here is a short exercise to help define your life by distance.
Step 1: Go to Google Maps and pick as the first destination your work address (if it’s the same as your home address skip the next step). Save each of the destinations asked for in this and the following steps. On a list right down the last date (if more than one) of each map marker.
Step 2: Enter your home address. (Save it.)
Step 3: Enter the address you went on your last date, an approximation is fine if the date has been so long ago the address is a foggy memory. (Save it.)
Step 4: Enter the address of the last family member (of your own family) you went to visit. (Save it.)
Step 5: Continuing doing this until the last 6 months of your life have been marked by place markers on the map, with the dates as accurate as possible, there won’t be a test after this one so don’t worry too much about a week here or there.
Step 6: Print out the map with detail enough to see the markers you’ve placed on the map.
This map is the “History of the world (insert your name here) style”.
You have been and went, come and gone. Some places more often than others and some places not enough. And I will leave this with two final tasks.
Task 1: Tape your newly printed map and printed list together on your fridge, on your bedroom wall or somewhere easily seen but not overly noticeable that every person will ask you what it is for, how it is to be used.
Task 2: On return to each marked by a place marker draw a circle around it.
Over the next six months pay attention to how the circles grow on the map. They are telling you a secret. That secret will be revealed to you on request.
