What does her body language tell you?

First off, let’s face reality: people will judge you, fairly or not, within the first couple of minutes after meeting you.

The first response, to fight or flight, is an automatic unconscious decision that we all make. Once that decision has been made the next action is whether there is attraction or not.

Both of these decisions are automatic and if you’re not at your best, and making a great first impression, you’ll fail and it’s then that much harder to attract someone.

When you do want to make the first impression the best it can be you have to:
be clean
be polite
be well-dressed
smile

You also need to keep a positive body language position. That means no hunching over, no crossing the arms across your chest and try to avoid the nervous laugh, it’s a big turn-off. When you speak to someone look them in the eyes, not at their chest, not over their shoulder.

These simple tips, when practiced and used, will help you make the best first impression ever!

Love at first sex?

Really, (now, remember, this is my opinion and you can feel free to disagree) but sex on the first date does not make a solid ground for a stable relationship.

Sex on the first date is entertaining entertainment. Plain and simple.

Women may believe that there can be a “special connection” that makes sex a forward move into a larger picture of a relationship… but it doesn’t. Not on the first date, certainly.

For some “couples” there may be a heavy price to this date climax, an unplanned pregnancy, that should have been protected against, big time. Never mind protections against STDs and other sex related dangers.

But you don’t need me to point that out, right?

Emotions can run high, for men and women, when intercourse becomes a very involved part of what could be a budding relationship. First date sex can raise the stress levels of attraction and rejection quickly.

Sex also raises the bar for the levels that are reached during the beginning stages of any relationship: will sex get better or worse? Will there be sex every date or is was the first date sex just a stepping stone to more sex later in the dating cycle, after a “dry” period?

To summarize, if you’re looking for a fling then go as fast and as far as you want, if you’re looking for a future then you’ll want to play the sex and dating game a little slower.

I am a funny guy

Now, I will be brutally honest with you, I use humor as a way of coping with life. If I can’t deal with it, maybe I can at least laugh at it. And if I can make someone else laugh at it too, well, all the merrier then.

I am often way ahead of others with my sarcastic wit and I even think that some people are put off at me because, while I am laughing on the inside I give away no outward signs of humor. No smiles, no chuckles, just a deadpan face.

The woman I attracted, and now my wife for 9 1/2 years finally understands me and adds in “He’s trying to be funny” when someone doesn’t understand what I’ve said, or maybe why I’ve said it.

All that being said, if you can make a person laugh you can make a friend. If you can make a woman laugh then you might be able to get a longer conversation from here and maybe even the opportunity to introduce yourself to her, get her name and number or email.

Even the guys that seem to have automatic success with women aren’t trying to seduce them through plain vanilla friendship and sucking up to them. They are sarcastic, off the cuff funny and aware of their surroundings, so that conversation, even if just light-weight topics, are easy to follow.

I’m not going to teach you to be funny. But you can certainly email me things that happened to you today, yesterday, and even tomorrow that struck you as funny, or you were able to interpret into a funny situation or sight and I can give you my opinion if it indeed was funny.

Because smiles and laughter are the best way to exchange interest and attraction. You can do this.
