I am always amazed by the level of technology that we have attained. We have phones that have more computing power than could be bought for millions of dollars a few decades ago.

With a couple of mouse-clicks we have so much knowledge available that we cannot possibly read it all, even if we lived for centuries… which, again, technology has increased our life-span by decades from the beginning of the last century.

But there are still things we do not know, that we need help with our understanding. Individualism still exists. And it’s the fact that we are not sheep, that we have separate tastes and needs that require us to work harder to learn about others, and attract a certain individual to imnprove our own lives through the intimate sharing that is only possible through loving another.

I talk, of course, about my oncology exam today.

This is the first day of the rest of your happy life. Yes, I mean today, Monday.

To get back on track, it is Monday and Monday’s aren’t quite so hard to get through if you include a little craziness in your day. This is what I suggest for you, just for the hell of it, go to the bathroom and wet your hands… and with your hands still wet, pretend to fall on someone, or towards someone… let the break your fall or catch you and make sure you touch them… then say “There was no handtowels in the bathroom”… And smile.

Did you enjoy the TV show ‘24‘ last night? That Jack Bauer, what a hero. I’ve been a fan since the first ‘day’ eight years ago and the stories, the ‘hours’ keep me well entertained. I’m certainly looking forward to tonight’s 2 hours of the continued events.

Did you also catch some of the ‘Golden Globes‘? I didn’t. I think that there are too many awards shows already, like the ribbon giving of a grade school sports day, everyone gets a ribbon. Everyone wins. Humbug.

I think that they type of movies and television you watch can tell a great deal about your character, about how much escapism you need to relax by. Adventure, romance, sex, titillation, etc.

I’ll leave the complete psychoanalysis to the appropriate agencies but there is something to what you watch and consume, don’t you think?

These subjects also make for great coffee cooler talk, television shows that is. So watch, be entertained, and try to remember a bit of the story for tomorrow, so you have something fun to talk about.
