Experience: Dating Profile Headline of the Day

Happiness is your life experience, shared.
There are things men ask other men in confidence (How do I know if my penis is average or larger than average?) and things men freely admit to other men (I am a Steven Seagal fan too).
Now, I have never, ever, wondered about the first question (I am a happy guy, happily married, that should speak hugely for itself, no pun intended) and I can easily admit that I was not a Steven Seagal fan until I found his TV show “Steven Seagal Lawman” recently.
His movies? No great realization, they are what they are. His TV show? It reaches me, it seems to be unscripted, and maybe the next best thing to live action police law enforcement I’ve ever seen on TV.
I like seeing a guy that has other options still doing what gives his life balance. Can you say you are giving yourself the same experience?
How would you sum up your life experience in one snazzy sentence? This is what your dating profile headline is all about.
You want to make a statement about your life. Your future. Your past.
You want to touch that one special person with your words, create a perfect image of life with your simple few words.
Your dating ad headline should be a reflection of your simplest, but exciting, evaluation of your life so far. Maybe this is the type of headline you’d like to post today:
“Life is an experience best shared with someone special.”
Have a great day!

Halloween costume photo
Congrats to all involved in a job well done. 33 miners saved after 69 days trapped 2,300 feet under the surface.
I won’t even to attempt to describe what has gone through their minds and the personal demons they fought to maintain hope and sanity. I’ll wait for the book or movie, or both.
Where I live mining and forestry support a big part of the local economy and this rescue event has changed a lot of talk around the dinner table in recent weeks, for a lot of my friends, certainly.
OK, enough slobbering on.
The point of this blog is to offer you a decent option, or example, to post as your online dating profile headline. Your headline and picture are the first things that someone browsing the personal ads, or reviewing search results, will see and if you want to beat all the competition for attention (go ahead and search for your profile, you’ll see what I mean) you need to stand out.
Loudly and with humor.
With Halloween around the corner feel free to get dressed up and (while avoiding the mask or facial makeup, you can include those complete costume photos in your profile photo album) take a few shots and pick one to be your primary photo. Not too many guys or gals are doing this yet so you’ll be ahead of the competition and just might score a Halloween party date early.
And for your headline try this today:
“Costume: check. Party: check. Party partner: Just one message away.”
Have a great day!

Thursday“I’ll always be there.”
How many past lovers have we said this to, from grade school on up?
It was the hormones, the emotions, the passion of the moment… whatever you want to call it, the moment sure was orchestrated by something other than clear-headed thinking, am I right?
Meeting people and beginning our people search online does allow us the opportunity to “edit” our thoughts and messages, to give ourselves an extra few moments to make sure our messages and intent are clear and sincere.
Just another obvious advantage to online dating, score 1 for the Internet.
With this advantage comes great power, I must warn you. You become even more responsible for getting the ideal message about yourself published to your online dating profile.
I can at least help with your headline and for today I suggest this:
“So far so great! Join me!”
Have a great day!

Happy Anniversary Baby!
Still in Las Vegas, pulling some money out of the slot machines rather than just feeding them, so it’s a great trip so far.
Marriage has gotten a bad wrap over the last few decades, fewer people making the commitment to each other and half of those that do end their commitment and marriage in divorce.
Now, I’m not going to pontificate on marriage, divorce or any of that, but making a commitment to someone you love is more than for today, it includes all of your tomorrows to.
Today I celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary and I will work hard to celebrate many more.
Life offers all of us many opportunities we just have to follow through with the ones we accept.
Today’s dating profile headline for you to post is this:
“Together we will change our lives in unexpected ways!”
Have a great day!

Like moths to a flame.
If I have one thing special to share with you it would be the knowledge that you have one special thing to share with someone too.
The only difference is that I don’t know you but you’ll know who you will be sharing with, if not now then sometime soon.
I am a “carrier” (vessel?) of a strange family curse. My older sister swears by it: her and I can tell the future. Not immediately, and certainly not in a “trance” state but we can divine directions that people should take and, with a lot of insight, see all the different paths and the results they will bring about.
Here’s an example: I’ve stopped buying lottery tickets. I know I won’t win a major prize. My life will not go down that path. But I will have modest wealth, so I do keep working. (How’s that for psychic insight?)
Today, you’ll keep working and you’ll do what is needed to get through the day, to move from one day into the next. carefully budgeting what you have so you’ll have a little more, eventually.
You’ll browse online dating services making two mental lists: out of my league and incompatible.
And you’ll feel good about not finding anyone at all to send a message to, mostly because then you won’t have to open up to anyone. There won’t be anyone you’ll need to explain yourself to that isn’t in your life right now.
You’ll feel lonely but you’ve become adjusted to the disappointment, so “not very hard” is how hard you try to change your life.
You will change but only when that’s the only path you have left to follow.
I’m offering you a new path right now. A sure-fire headline to post with your online dating profile that will draw dates to you like moths to a flame. Are you ready? Post this as your headline today:
“I am not a numbers game. You’ll know this when you meet me.”
Have a great day!

Have you ever wished that you were funnier, that is more funny than you currently are?
I bet even Robin Williams has days when he wishes he was funnier. And I know that John Cleese has days when he wishes he could outdo his funniest moments (mainly so people would stop asking him to walk).

John Cleese (Monty Python) skit: Ministry of Silly Walks

All of that being said I’d like to get right to the point which was why aren’t you funnier?
One exceptional quality of being human (man or woman) is our propensity to laugh… at ourselves, at others, or simply in the attempts to make others laugh at themselves, at ourselves or others.
Humor does make the world go around, of this I am sure.
All of that being said, let’s get back to the topic at hand (yes, it’s amazing how easily distracted I can get!) posting a funny headline for your online dating profile.
Given the insights from the above videos I suggest this headline for you (feel free to direct people to this blog post so they can gain a deeper understanding, if you must):
“There is one question I ask all potential dates and that is”
Have a great day!

The hardest part of bring single is often explaining this “situation” to others.
They’ll say stuff like: you’re funny, handsome, beautiful, nice listener, friendly, etc.
But all these great points do not make up a great relationship until they’re discovered by a compatible person.
So you’ve started using online dating to get to the core of these issues and make a better (intertwined life) with someone special. Good for you.
When using online dating make sure that your profile is honest and you don’t come off a loser, a negative person or a party clown.
And start with a great headline like this one:
“Why are YOU still single?”
Have a great day!

Thursday“Hot with thundershowers.”
I don’t know about you but I hate weather forecasts like that. Rain I can handle, hot weather I can live with but mix it together and you have a day that I’d just rather stay under the covers, thank you very much.
Revealing little idiosyncrasies can be not only liberating but help you with your relationships because people understand you better as you act out against the weather, rats, or whatever drives you crazy.
Your online dating profile is a great place to reveal these little things about yourself because when you are “pre-judged” by people that will meet you because of your profile you are also “pre-approved” as a friend and dating prospect.
So go ahead, share a little something crazy about yourself in your profile and see if your dating prospects don’t improve.
While you’re add it, now is a good time to change your profile headline too, try this one:
“I am following my inner drive.”
Have a great day!
Dating Profile Headline of the Day
ThursdayI’m not the type of person that would lie to you to make you happy. Your happiness vs. the truth? The truth wins out every time.
Sure, I’ve been called insensitive, but does sensitivity really go so far as to let a person live in the very true unreality they are in?
You’re right, it doesn’t.
I will back your play, as long as you’re good to go with the very real truth that life is hard. Life is not about living lies, it’s about living life to it’s fullest and it’s most potential.
I am asking you to believe me, because I have no reason to lie to you.
Use online dating to it’s fullest and you might just find it is about you, and the real truth that can become the next chapter of your life, a person in love.
You need to take that first step, find a dating service and post your profile. And to get the attention you honestly deserve, lead off with this headline:
“I will never be so happy as the day I met you!”
Have a great day!

Thursday
Today promises what most days do not, an unraveling of the world’s stock markets and fear of another depression/recession.
They’ll call it “The Double Dip” or some such nonsense.
Most of us can only sit and watch while those of a “better understanding” lose us millions of dollars in every way.
This is a good time to find someone to hold on to, someone that gives and gets comfort with you.
Today, my personal ad headline for you is:
“Will you make it ‘Two for the show’?”
Have a great day!

Today is a DIY profile day (Do It Yourself).
I’m sure you’ll do fine, just post the next 5 words that come to mind as your headline, as in:
“This is my great headline!”
Have a great day!
