Creative Valentine's Day Date Ideas That You Can Use All Year

A perfect dating experience is a lot like preparing a gourmet meal. Formulate a great menu, prepare it just right and take care in the presentation.

Whether you are looking forward to a memorable Valentine’s Day or a special date, here are a couple ideas to touch someone’s heart. An organized, planner type romantic might try what we call “Postcards from Romanceland.” The last minute romantic could do well to consider what we call “Twelve Times the Romance.”

The “postcards” approach is simple. Each day for six days prior to the big day, send your loved one a romantic note on an artistic or love-inspired postcard. Maybe hint at a special date you have in mind. Personally deliver the seventh postcard on the special day, which is the actual invitation to a fabulous day or evening together. Then, enjoy what all of the anticipation evokes.

For the “twelve times” plan, give him or her a favorite flower or bouquet. Include a romantic note and mention that this day will be one you both will celebrate throughout the year. On that same day each month for the next 12 months, give him or her another flower or bouquet. It’s a lasting gift that is sure to keep the romantic fires burning all year.
