What would you say is the average age of your male and female members?

What is the feature of your service that helps your service stand out
from all the rest?
A member selects another member, that member decides whether or not to
share his/her name and email address based on a review of the profile of
the requesting member, and they are then on their own. We encourage real
names rather than aliases and require photos. Those requirements tend to
cut down on the number of phonies. Honesty and integrity are our most
important assets. When we say that we will never share anyone's
information (i.e. email addresses) with anyone else except as
specifically determined by the member, we mean it. We protect the
privacy of our members.

Tell us about the types of memberships that are available:
It is an international site and membership for women is free. It was the
men who requested this and we have wound up with more female than male
members thus far as a result.
Men, after the two week free membership, pay 7.50 for a month, 15.00 for
three months, or 35.00 for a year.

Describe for us your matching system:
I believe we did that above. Members search based on their own criteria.
They see someone they like, they click a button. The person they
selected is emailed. When that person logs on, the first thing he or she
sees is a list (w/ thumbnail photos) of those they have selected and
those who have selected them along w/ responses given since the last
visit. A click on the photo of a selector bring up that persons profile
with larger photos. Another button click accepts or rejects the
selection. After a rejection the person selected no longer appears
(unless the "Maybe Later" button was clicked). A yes reveals the last
name and email address to the selecting party.

Do you know of any marriages that occurred between people that have met
at your service?
Yes. Though we are basically out of the loop once couples begin to
communicate with one another, we have received SEVERAL emails from
individuals who have married, thanking us for uniting them. We have not
been keeping up the testimonials page for some time, but do plan to go
back and start updating it in the near future.

Do you have any plans for new features to be introduced soon?
We have just upgraded the site to the .NET platform and have spent
thousands on new software (including all Macromedia packages and Visual
Studio .NET) and do plan to make MANY changes to the site over the
coming year. We are just not sure what they will be yet. We have in the
past made many changes based on member suggestions and we will go
through those and solicit other before making any changes to be sure
they are changes our members want.

Do you have any specials coming soon?
It is our plan to offer one year membership for $20.00 rather than
$35.00 during the month of June 2002.
