WHAT THEY SAY: Crazy Blind Date is a place where you can coordinate a date on extremely short notice. Online dating sites are cool (we also run OkCupid.com), but sometimes you just want to go out immediately, with reckless abandon. We understand it's not for everyone, but it is for social, outgoing, and adventurous people. Oh, and it's completely free.
WHAT WE FOUND: Crazy Blind Date is definitely one of the top 10 weirdest sites with come across in all the years of reviewing dating services.
The idea that you join a free dating service, answer some questions and agree to meet someone you don't know in a local bar or coffee house, while not totally outrageous, does seem that could be a lot of fun. We like the idea that the profile it's easy to complete and requires to answer as many questions as you want or none at all.
Obviously the more questions you answer the better matching profile your match will be, but it's all up to you.
The only bad thing we found was Crazy Blind Date is that it's only available in a few select US cities. So you complete your profile. Your matched within a couple of days and off and off you go to your blind date. It's just that simple. You'll receive a description of your match and you can always text to the crazy blind date site to get a description or to pass the message along to your blind date, if needed.
Sounds fun to me.
You've got a good thing going here, Sam (Sam Yagan, founder of OKCupid.com), keep it up.
WHAT YOU'LL FIND: Free to join and meet others. Crazy blind date is a lot of fun. Complete as much of the profile is he like the more the better your match will be. We like the fact there are no ads on the site. We don't like the fact that it's only available in select US cities such as: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, DC, and Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco Bay.
