WHAT WE FOUND: ComputaDate is a new friendly service for people that live in England, Scotland and Wales. Free to join and post your personal ad and free to send and receive messages, you'll like this service. You can upload a picture with your profile and even see who was last looking at your profile, which is a nice feature, but we really like the search feature that allows you to find someone within a selected distance from your location. The join form (you have to join before you can browse the service) is easy to complete and shouldn't take longer than a couple of minutes. When you find someone you'd like to contact, just send them a message. It will be sent to the email address that they signed up with, but through the very safe ComputaDate service, keeping you anonymous and until you reveal your own personal information to the person only your member ID is revealed in your message. (You may want to sign up for a free dateme email address, available here, for your membership, since you'll also receive any messages to the email address that you use to sign up.) Included in the search results is the date the member last logged into their ComputaDate account, so you'll know if the person is actively using the service or not, a great help to avoid stale profiles.
