August 22 2001 - Changes at Flirt2k include: the format of our questions and the way we post profiles. We will no longer be using the "conversation" type answers that we have been. Rather, the switch to a more factual format and presentation will happen soon. You will want to go in and review your profile and make changes as required to match the new format. Additional changes include internal messaging (no more emailing), and further limited access for non-paying subscribers. We'll keep you posted!!

WHAT THEY SAY: We expect to grow quickly, and our entire organization is braced for the impact. We are spending literally 100's of thousands of dollars on marketing this site, and similar sites with smaller marketing budgets often attract 30,000 to 40,000 new users weekly. Out of the blocks we are hoping for about 10,000 new users per month. We hope that number will grow as our site improves and we have more and more members just like you! WHAT WE FOUND: Flirt2k is a fairly new service that will really help you find someone that you'd like to meet for a variety of personal relationships. You must join first but that only takes a couple of minutes. The questionnaire is interesting and will give you a good idea of the search possibilities as well as allowing you to describe yourself quite well, as long as you complete it. At the end of the signup you are given the option of paying for a "full member" membership or beginning your membership with a one month limited free membership. From there, just go back to the home page of Flirt2k.com, you will be a member now and able to contact others, do searches, modify your profile etc. We didn't see a lot of photos, although they do encourage you to include up to 3 pictures of yourself, we did see a lot of members in a variety of searches. Be sure to "Manage your profile" this link takes you to where you can add more information about yourself, we like this feature. Messages between members are sent through the Flirt2k anonymous message system, so the only information that is revealed about yourself is what you have in your profile and what you say to others. All in all, a very nice new service. We expect Flirt2k to grow quickly. WHAT YOU'LL FIND: Members only, photo personals. You have to pay to make contact (but see our way around this above!)
