interest list, who is interested, blocked, missed IMs, online friends,
who is online, who is new, chat, video gallery, and latest photos),
membership info, and other miscellaneous info.

Message: First off, the description of the messaging feature is inaccurate. You can send messages all you want, and you can receive them as well. The problem is, you can't read them unless you buy the upgrade. That includes messages from regular (free) users. Also, take a look at their terms of service where your photo is used:
4.11 Use of Images
In addition to the provisions of clause 4.5, by providing any photographs, material, information or content to the Company, you acknowledge and agree that the Company may:
(a) reproduce, use, copy, perform, display, distribute and exploit the material, information or content;
(b) prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works and other media, such material, information and content; and
(c) licence others the same rights granted to the Company in (a) (b) above, and you consent to any and all such uses, including, without limitation, for any promotional or commercial purposes. You also warrant that you have the authority to grant the consent referred to in this clause.
So basically, once you put up a photo, they can do whatever they want with it. They can even use it in a profile for a gay website, or use it in some advertisement. And, they don't give you the option to delete them; you can only hide the ones you have on your profile. Think about that for a minute. Would you expect a "trusted" site to do something like that, or even have that provision? I don't think so.
This site is far too fishy. My suggestion to you is, don't use it. And DEFINITELY don't upload a photo.

Message: The Site is not so bad, You can contact Decent looking women.Although it helps to be in Japan as the best ones i found were in Japan. The ones here I think were to much like U.S girls and have some crazy hang up with LA.
As a hispanic I found it not to hard to meet women on this site. It does seem they care more about your job then looks, but I am very light.
As for Chris little problem I do think Stereotype does play a big role as in culture and image, Hollywood and hip hop does not help the problem as well.

Message: Let me begin by stating that this sight does have something to offer, provided you meet the proper requirements (see below). The layout is good, search options are wide, and there is certainly no shortage of people on the site. Pricing seems a little steep on a month-to-month basis though.
As a person of mixed race (Jamaican/North American Indian) I find myself being shut out by the vast majority of Japanese women on this site. They say they want friends from abroad, but obviously that means only if you're Caucasian. Seems like the Japanese are still as xenophobic as ever. You never know though, you may get lucky and actually find a woman there willing to take a chance on you if you're a person of color. But I wouldn't bet on it. So if you're of Afro-American decent steer clear of this site, and probably most Asian dating sites. Not worth the effort until women on that side of the world start changing their stereotypical views.
