Easy to browse and find someone in your area to send a message to, you'll also want to join and post your own profile. It's better to answer all the profile questions, most people skip some of them and don't get many replies because of the lack of information in their profile. Also, personals with pictures get many more responses than personal ads without a picture (you can post only one picture). You don't have to be an AOL service member to join their personals service, but it helps for the instant messenger service to work better if you are (instructions are available to download the IM service for non-AOL members). You will be revealing your email address when you complete the personal profile to place your ad online, so be sure to have an anonymous email address ready. There is some monitoring of profiles placed, so read the guidelines carefully so your personal doesn't get removed without warning. We really like the link to send someone a free greeting card right from their personal ad. Definitely worth a look at for placing your personal ad, or to browse personal ads of other singles.
