WHAT WE FOUND: Choices are offered right away when you visit Personals Today: select your type of sexual orientation then select the type of relationship neighborhood you are looking for (friendships, relationships, intimacy and alternative). There is no tour available, so you have three choices to learn about the offered features, read the “Help” page (which is tedious clicking between all of the pages), clicking into the relationship neighborhood of your choice to browse around and by joining for the guest membership. To join you’ll need to complete the basic personal information and then confirm your membership after you receive your welcome email, be sure that your email address is entered correctly. You can submit a different profile in each “relationship neighborhood” that you want to meet someone and it takes about 24 hours before your profile is approved and posted. Your guest membership gives you 5 contact tokens once you have completed and had your first profile approved. You will also receive another 5 tokens when you post your picture and you can do this for each of the four neighborhoods, for a total of 40 contact tokens. The profile form is quick to complete but be sure to take your time with the 2 essay questions about yourself and the person you are looking for. You can also reply to messages, wink at members you are interested in and join quick chat requests before becoming a full member. Contacts that you will want to initiate will cost you tokens from your account and starting a contact with someone through the messaging system will cost you 3 tokens, so it’s best that you complete your profile and upload a picture of yourself to be able to contact 3 people before you have to become a full (paid) member. Messages can also be sent COD, which will cost the recipient instead of yourself. If you send messages this way, be sure you have completed a winning profile to ensure a reply. Your membership here will be fun with using the “Otlists”, your Hotlist of profiles you’ve saved and the Notlist of profiles you’ve blocked from contacting you, the wide assortment of searches available and the many ways to make contact.
