Amazon.com reader review ~ The book was great, right from the first page. This was the first Koontz novel I ever read. Now I am trying to get as many as I can. I love the introduction of new, interesting characters, and how they all came together at the end. The discriptions of all the places and events were so vivid. I actually felt as if the book were swallowing me, and I was witnessing everything that was taking place. Before reading this book, I did not like to read at all. The problem was I could never find anything to keep my interest. Now I look forward to going home and reading. I thought this book was exceptional. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good thrill.
